Our founder Matt Peterson recently visited Kenya and attended a school well dedication, where these Maasai students shared a poem of gratitude for the water – "cool and alive" – that Hydrating Humanity brought to their school.
Time and time again, we have noticed that expressions of gratitude pour out of so many of the people that we encounter at our well dedications. Why? Because they know the arrival of clean water means:
No more sickness
No more long, hot, unsafe walks for dirty water
More time for education and achieving dreams
Lasting generational impact (we maintain our wells, so families and children will never have to face the same challenges
God has answered their prayers for safe water!
We are on a mission to eradicate the waterborne disease crisis and to pour out God's love on East Africa. When you become part of our mission, you are helping us provide clean water and the Living Water (Jesus). Join us!
WAYS TO HELP:
Join One Tribe - One Tribe is our community of monthly givers. 100% of your monthly gift goes directly towards sponsoring clean water projects in Kenya and Tanzania. You simply set the amount that works for you, and the cumulative effect of many like-minded individuals translates into incredible impact. One Tribe givers have now sponsored over 220 projects to date!
Sponsor a Project - we have several types of wells and projects that you could choose to sponsor (either fully or in part). When you sponsor a well, you'll receive a commemorative book with location details, photos of the completed project and the people you've directly impacted.
Start a Fundraiser - we make it easy to create your own goals and fundraising plan with our custom My Humanity Project page. You simply set up a project with a goal, and share the link with your friends and family. It's a great thing to do for a birthday or just to rally your friends together to create a lasting legacy.
Church Partnerships - We partner with churches to sponsor projects, and this is a great way to create a missional focus for your church.
