Hydrating Humanity partners with churches to be a mission arm with incredible impact and eternal fruit through clean water projects that give "cups of cold water" to the least of these, saving lives and presenting the good news and love of Jesus to the "least of these."
Two Waters
💧 Natural Water: Jesus said: "For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because of your name as followers of Christ, truly I say to you, he will not lose his reward" (Mark 9:41)​
And, "I (Jesus) was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink" (Matt 25:35)​

💧 Living Water: Jesus also said: "Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life" (John 4:13-14)
Over 1 Million Gospel Presentations
Our work of giving natural water is the spearhead for sharing the love of God and the good news of Jesus. In many of the communities and schools where we work, the spiritual landscape is confused by all kinds of teachings, and at times, the people we serve are practicing tribal customs or another faith entirely. Some of the ways we share the Gospel include:

The Jesus Film screenings at schools, followed by an invitation to receive Jesus. We have dedicated staff who's role is solely to present the film and the gospel.

Gospel Presentations at Well Dedication Ceremonies, teaming up with local pastors. We have ceremonies when a new well is installed and the community or school gathers to celebrate.

Ongoing Awana Discipleship Programs for students at schools

Gospel tracts for kids, custom designed to fit their African identity and culture

Feeding Widows Program at Christmas, demonstrating God's love for the "least of these"
I love missional projects and I was captivated by Hydrating Humanity years ago. The initial pictures touched me deeply. The practicality of changing lives and the spiritual fulfillment of waters that changes you, touched me. The Holy Spirit seen as springs of living water, what an opportunity! Early on I sold cases of water. I remember preaching from the stack of cases of water. That was my pulpit. We had fundraisers, spaghetti dinners, relatively new church that we had, caught on to the vision. Anything we could do to raise money, get a well, bless some lives. I always felt I could do more, should do more, and would do more. Then the videos, the results of our giving and sewing into Africa, they would arrive. Pictures of children dancing in the flowing water, splashing one another. Hundreds of children watching Jesus videos transfixed on the message of Jesus Christ, how exciting was that! We were all stunned when we connected with the results of the unfolding story of the gospel and how it was touching villages, schools and even a nation. The poor are being helped. Thousands of wells will be dug.
